SOCIALDREAM

The specialist in virtual reality escape

Our concept, adapted & personalized VR support

SocialDream is the use of new technology for wellness. SocialDream supports vulnerable people (elderly, disabled, isolated or hospitalized) towards 360-degree escape solutions thanks to this powerful tool that is virtual reality. Originally born from a need directly expressed by the Seniors, our concept is built on strong social and societal values and today finds many applications. Our core business is personalized SUPPORT. Through virtual reality, we support people in their immersive experience, and thus allow them to change universes, to live or relive emotions. Our strength is to offer completely personalized services, whether by their content or by the flexibility of our offers, so that they fully adapt to our customers and final beneficiaries. Our desire today is to share with the greatest number of people our concept, by integrating from the outset the psychological aspect, respect for the person and his life journey.
Our goal, support throughout the life course
Each life path is littered with trials. Some are more difficult to overcome than others can affect us on a physical and / or psychological level. Our job is directly linked to the needs of therapists and caregivers, we put our technical skills at the service of those who know and who work every day for the best of their patients, residents, ... In close collaboration with these Health professionals and in agreement with our human values, we are constantly developing new virtual reality solutions to support throughout the life course.
Our commitment, total involvement in Research and Innovation
Our ambition is not to be a simple provider of immersive experiences in virtual reality, which is why SocialDream gives pride of place to innovation. In the same way, our concept and the production of our content are always aimed at obtaining an emotion, a memory, a precise movement, all in a real therapeutic approach.

The opinion of the neuropsychologist

"It is now clear that virtual reality has a great potential for applications in very diverse and varied fields. More recently, the idea of using virtual reality as a technology for therapeutic purposes in the health field and social work has made its way. Thus, virtual reality becomes a versatile tool that can be part of care in several ways: it is possible to use VR to make cognitive stimulation, adapted physical activities, to support psychotherapies, improve communication, or simply (re) live positive and pleasant experiences at the time. Among other things, the use of virtual reality in health is only in its infancy and nothing excludes even more innovative and varied applications in the future. As a psychologist, I particularly appreciate the way in which therapeutic solutions in virtual reality are thought out and implemented at Soc ialDream. Support and active listening to the needs, preferences and specificities of users are at the heart of the solutions offered by SocialDream. In addition, particular attention is paid to the emotions that may arise during the use of virtual reality, in order to guarantee pleasant and motivating experiences for users. Another essential point which convinced me is the ethical and respectful approach towards users which is systematically used by SocialDream. During the projects, everything is done to understand and match the expectations, preferences and requests of users in order to offer them optimal and personalized virtual reality support. Anxious to offer ever more suitable and innovative therapeutic solutions, SocialDream also continues to develop through research projects. As part of my PhD, we plan to explore the emotions generated during virtual reality experiences. We will study in particular the content offered in the treatments, what emotions VR can bring about and their impact on users of various ages and profiles. Our goal is to confirm that virtual reality is an effective positive technology, allowing to reduce stress, pain, and to increase positive emotions and experiences. More than ever, a need is clearly expressed on the part of users to have access to non-drug therapies, adapted to their requests and respectful of their desires, and this is exactly where the strength of SocialDream resides.
